On a public Whale Shark Tour you'll be grouped with other Tourists from around the world to a Maximum of 10 per boat. Our Public boats are designed for the OPEN waters found between the Marina & the Whale Shark Migration/Feeding areas. They have cover but dont forget your hat. You'll depart between 730-800am from Gran Puerto our Marina north of Cancun. Our Tours also include Custom Round Trip Transportation from your Hotel or Condo.
Pickups Begin between 600-730am depending where YOU are in the Pickup Area. We pickup from Cancun Hotel Zone & Centro, Puerto Morelos, Playa Del Carmen, PlayaCar, Xcaret, Puerto Adventuras, Akumal & as far South as Tulum. ( If you're SOUTH of Tulum you'll need to get there for PickUp.
We Prefer talking you Personally vs the "IMPERSONAL" online website reservation forms used by the Packagers who sell tours all over the place from Chicjen Itza to Tulum to Pirate Dinner Cruise & Oh Yes, the Whale Shark Adventure via a Shopping Cart Menu Form. After everyone gets their 2-3 5 to 7 minute Episodes (poss more) with the Whale Sharks the Captain will pilot the boat to a reef area where those interested will be given "Hand Line Fishing Gear" to catch Grouper, Snapper, & Yellowtail. The Crew will instantly prepare this into the FRESHEST & BEST Ceviche you've ever eaten !!!
For those of you who've never tried CEVICHE its a FRESH FISH salad where the Freshly caught Fillets are chopped into little pieces & then MARINATED in Fresh LIME juice & Spices. Its then mixed with freshly chopped Tomatoes, Onions, & Cilantro and Eaten will fresh Tortilla chips! Bon Apetite.....Bon Provecho !!! They is NONE BETTER.
You'll also have time to snorkel @ a small reef teeming with Colorful Fish and perhaps a Turtle or Dolphin...OR a Harmless Nurse Shark!

Considering the 1000's of people who do this every year, and considering they suck in huge amounts of water at the surface.......Well you get the Point! Also Please apply your Sun Block enroute not at the Snorkel site: This will allow your Block to Soak in better to Protect YOU & the Whale Sharks. The Whale Sharks THANK YOU For your consideration !!!
TIPS: Normally 10-15% for the Captain & In-Water guides is appreciated by your crew for a Job well done. You Decide.
Dramamine, Patches, Ear Buttons, and Ginger etc to PREVENT sea sickness. Please take whatever PRECAUTIONS are necessary if you're Prone to Sea Sickness. Its not pleasant for you or other guests. BE PREPARED. We cannot legally give you Medications.
