BIO-DEGRADEABLE SUN SCREEN is a Must. To protect the Whale Sharks its MANDATORY you only use BIO Sunscreens. Chemical Sun Screens can damage their delicate systems. We have REEF SAFE BIO DEGRADEABLE Sun Screen Avail at nominal Cost @ Departure Marina
- Your own Personal Snorkel Gear if you prefer (Or We provide Free of Charge)
- Wet Suit Shortie or Skin.....No one else will tell you this, but if you bring one of these you WILL NOT be obligated to wear the Obligatory Ski-Vest while swimming
- IF You dont have a wet suit and dont want to wear the Life Preserver we have Pro Grade Wet suits available for daily rental @ departure Marina
- Towels, Hat, Long Sleeve Blouse or Shirt if you're prone to sunburn
- Tips: Normally 10-15% is Appropriate for Your Captains & In-water Guides
- "They will earn your tips as they will work their "Butts" off to insure your Maximum enjoyment

Is it SAFE to swim with the Whale Sharks?
Yes Perfectly safe. They are Vegetarians & actually seem to enjoy interacting with people! You are advised to keep a 3' distance between you & the Whale Shark. Their Tails are very powerful & you could get "Slapped" if you're too close. OBVIOUSLY there is NO TOUCHING, GRABBING, RIDING, the Whale Sharks. Failure to Follow the Captains Orders will result in IMMEDIATE Removal from the water after the First & "only" WARNING !!!!!
Where are the Whale Sharks?
The Whale Sharks are normally feeding in the Plankton Rich waters between Cabo Catoche & Isla Contoy. We mark their Positions Daily with our GPS Mapping Devices + we use "Spotter" planes. Generally its between 30 minutes to 1 hour transit time. When we encounter them you;ll see their GIGANTIC Mouths in the water "WIDE-OPEN" Gulping Plankton etc as they glide through the water.
Cancellation Policy
After you've made your reservation and within 48 Hours of your Swim date you may cancel without penalty & receive 100% Refund of your deposit. Within 48 hours if YOU decide to cancel we charge a 15% Refund/Admin fee. IF, a weather related event comes (HURRICANE) or, if the Port is closed for any reason, we will Re-Schedule if possible for you, OR REFUND 100% of ALL Monies paid minus transportation costs if cancelled by Capt Of The Port @ the last minute etc.Tours will go "RAIN or SHINE" in most instances.
