Our Whale Shark Business started on Holbox Island (Approx 100 miles from Cancun) in 2004. At that time if you wanted to do a Whale Shark Tour you HAD to come to Holbox Island.
As a "Day Trip" it was a VERY LONG DAY! You'd be picked up in Cancun or Riviera Maya at about 400AM for tthe long 2 1/2-3 hour trip just to get to Holbox!!
Then a long day in the Hot sun swimming with the Whale Sharks..............and then another Long ride thru the jungle back to Cancun.
Our Cancun based operation which began in 2009 has been the answer for those wanting to do a FAST "DAY TRIP"
HOWEVER, many people seek the "HOLBOX EXPERIENCE". Holbox is a small island 7 mi out in the Gulf Of Mexico. Prior to the discovery of the Whale Sharks in 2004 it was & still is, a "Sleepy Fishing Village". There are NO CARS on Holbox, NO High-Rise Hotels. NO asphalt, sand streets, Golf Carts, Scooters, Bikes etc.

Holbox is located on the TOP TIP of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Golf Of Mexico. There is NO other Diving here as it has no reef. It does have other great ECO Attractions like the Fresh Water Cenote, Bird Island, Kayaking, Passion Island etc and the Fish thats caught here goes to...............Yup you guessed it the Restaurants in Cancun.........The NEXT DAY!!!! or later!!!!!
